Spring is one of my favourite times of the year for window shopping. The days get longer and the sun gets warmer and you can wear fashionable shoes again without getting salt stains on them. On one of my many strolls down Spring Garden road in Halifax, I found a few fabulous finds that are perfect for a formal event like Prom or your wedding.

First are these gorgeous Patent Peep Toe Pump shoes I found in the window of Le Château. Love them! They would be perfect for the bridesmaids in a black and white themed wedding and would look great with a tailored suit at the office. When I got home I also found these beautiful Satin D’orsay Sandals that would be perfect for the bride.

Also along Spring Garden is another one of my favourtites, KAS or Kick Ass Shoes. Get your hands on some Vera Wang Ballet Flats or Steve Madden pumps in there. So many shoes to choose from in there!! I love ruffles and there are many accessories that match dresses that incorporate ruffles into them.

No one quite does ruffles like Monique L’huillier and her Precious dress. Instead of plain ruffles on this bridal gown there are butterflies. So feminine and perfect for the outdoor wedding. Some other goodies are the Sianez shoes from ALDO and Valentino ruffled satin clutch. I also found this great Ralph Lauren Redell ruffled dress that could be a bridesmaid dress or just a dress to wear to a wedding this year.

I visited the Canadian Zappos shoe site to browse some cute shoes to share and discovered that as of today, April 1, 2011, they will no loner be shipping to Canada. *sniff* I really love the selection that the site offers and their prices are sometimes unbeatable so I am really sad to see them stop shipping to Canada.

As a farewell tribute to all the shoes I’ve loved before, here are some of my favourite shoes that are currently listed on Zappos. Wouldn’t these be perfect for the bride-to-be or her bridesmaids? I love those blue bright satin pumps!! Maybe I can get my order in before they stop shipping. I am crossing my fingers that this is a cruel April fool’s prank.
