Getting Married in 2010 or 2011? Make Your Own Save The Date Cards!

By Tara Andrews

Everyone is looking for ways to save some money without skimping on the details and fun parts about getting married. You gotta love the girls over at weddingchicks.com. They have made an easy DIY project to create beautiful save the date cards for weddings in 2010 and 2011.

All you need are some 4×3 inch photos, a printer, some #10 cards and envelopes, and some creativity. You can also use their files to import your photos and add a virtual stamp with software like Adobe Photoshop like I did in my example.

If you don’t have a picture that you love of the two of you, you can always include a photo from the location of the wedding like my example with a photo I took during my vacation to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
