If you missed my weekend facebook photo updates, I have introduced some salt water Akoya pearls into my collection. I usually only work with freshwater pearls but it was so hard to find high quality freshwater pearls that worked well for stud earrings that weren’t already half way around the world that I decided to expand a little and get some Akoya pearls. Plus these were such fantastic pearls, I couldn’t pass on them.

Although I am not “officially” engaged yet, working within the bridal world gives me lots of opportunity to plan my own wedding day. This song by Van Morrison has always been another one of my all time favourite songs and so eloquently describes how I feel about my boyfriend.
