Melissa’s Misfit Freshwater Pearl Cluster Pendant
By Tara Andrews
November 12th, 2010
One of my new designs uses all of the leftover “misfit” pearls from other projects to create a statement piece. The pearls may have been a slightly different shape that the rest of the pearls on a strand or I may have had a few leftov
ers after a project that just weren’t enough pearls to make something else with.
Either way, I loved picking random pearls and slowly building this beautiful pendant until the whole circle was filled with pearls. The frame of the pendant is a 30mm Sterling silver hammered ring. The pendant comes with a Sterling silver chain.
Because I use “misfit” pearls and build the pendant as I go, each one is one-of-a-kind. I hope someone out there will love wearing this as much as I loved making it.
This one is listed on Etsy here.

I love creating new jewelry designs and getting ideas from the components and pieces that all my trusty suppliers have available. You may see an empty piece of round silver, but I see a gorgeous cluster pendant with pearls and crystals.
I have been very creative lately and come up with some new jewelry designs for the Fall. Watch the following video to get a taste of my collection.
